This festive season the Octagon Theatre brings to life one of the greatest fairy-tales of all time in a magical, fun and feisty re-telling of Cinderella, from Friday 18 November until Saturday 14 January.
Throughout the 50 year history of the Octagon, many productions of Shakespeare’s work have been performed on the Octagon stage. In keeping with this proud tradition, the Octagon is celebrating Shakespeare’s work to commemorate the 400th anniversary of his death.
The Octagon Theatre Bolton is delighted to invite submissions for its annual REVEAL Festival and Top 5 Season, uncovering new performances, new stories, and new voices from the North.

This will this be an exciting opportunity for two boys to work with a large cast in a professional producing theatre, experiencing everything from costume fittings to technical rehearsals.

Marking Elizabeth Newman’s first full season as Artistic Director at the Octagon, To Kill a Mockingbird captures the delight and mysteries of childhood as well as exploring the fight for justice.

From 11am to 4pm, visitors to the Octagon Theatre’s first-ever Pleasure Beach weekend will be able to feel the sand between their toes, meet some donkeys, and indulge in some ice cream - whatever the weather.
