We are proud to announce that the Octagon is now an official Hate Incident Reporting Centre, strengthening our commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and accessible space for all. 

As a Hate Incident Third Party Reporting Centre, the Octagon can provide information and support in reporting to people who have experienced or witnessed a hate incident.

Hate incidents can include verbal abuse, threats, intimidation, bullying, physical violence and online abuse. They do not have to involve physical violence to be reported. 

We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and accessible environment for everyone who visits, works or takes part in activity at the Octagon. Discriminatory or intimidating behaviour is not tolerated in our spaces.

Becoming a Hate Incident Third Party Reporting Centre is another step in supporting our communities and ensuring people know where they can access help and guidance.
