Bridges Company

Our award-winning Bridges programme enables young people and adults with additional needs and learning disabilities to take part in drama and performance opportunities at the Octagon Theatre.

Bridges Company offers adult participants aged 25+ a chance to work collaboratively to perform for audiences. The sessions provide acting opportunities in an inclusive setting, with the emphasis being on gaining confidence and improving collaborative skills.

Please note from January we will operating 5 week terms instead of 10 week terms, with the intention of offering places to participants on alternate terms. This will ensure that as many of our participants get to join in as possible whilst we work with smaller groups.

Due to current restrictions Youth Theatre sessions will take place online via Zoom. These will be live and interactive sessions. if guidance changes we will look to move sessions to in person, delivery in the new Octagon building with suitable Covid-secure measures.
