In a country ravaged by war and rebellion, a fragile peace has finally broken out across an exhausted and wounded land.

Macbeth, returning from battle, meets three witches bearing a strange and fateful prophecy that begins a chain of bloody and brutal events.

Driven by an insatiable desire to succeed, Macbeth sets out to become King, by any means possible.

As his power-hungry wife sets him off on a murderous course to seize the crown, he is consumed by a great darkness… with violence and tyranny inflicted upon everything and everyone who stands in his way. But will their sanity remain intact, or will they pay the ultimate price for their destructive actions?

Auditions

We are recruiting for 2 teams of 2 young people to play roles for our upcoming production of Macbeth. We are looking for a Fleance and Young MacDuff.

We are looking for young people between the ages of 9-13. We would like to see young people who are confident with Shakespearian text and who are good movers as there will be choreographed fight scenes to take part in.

We have attached sides for you to look at and prepare. Please prepare for both roles as you will be asked to read both.

You will be required for rehearsal days prior to the show opening - To be confirmed closer to the time.

You will be required between 2nd March 2026 - 28th March 2026. If you are unavailable during this time, it will not be possible for you to audition on this occasion. This will require you to be taken out of school on technical rehearsal days and performance days.
