We will once again be opening our doors and holding our General Auditions for local/Greater Manchester actors, who are based within 25 miles of the theatre.

This year we are working with Equity to provide 3 days of auditions, taking place from Tue 13 - Thu 15 August.

To be eligible to apply you must be a full member of Equity's Greater Manchester Branch and live locally - your registered address must be within 25 miles of the Octagon - postcode BL1 1SB. Please do not apply if you have previously attended our general auditions or if you have auditioned for an Octagon production in the last 2 years.

This is a chance to get to know the Octagon’s Artistic & Casting team and to be considered for all upcoming productions. Whilst these auditions do not guarantee being cast in a role, many actors we have met through previous General Auditions have gone on to work with us.

All Equity Greater Manchester Branch members will have been sent an email from the branch today with full details and a link to the form to apply.

Spaces for auditions are limited and we are expecting demand to be high - successful members will be chosen at random and notified (with full audition details) on Thu 1 August.
