About Bolton Artists & Creatives Social

We are excited to launch the first of our Bolton Artists & Creatives Social networking events in celebration of Bolton being named the Greater Manchester Town of Culture.

This is an opportunity for artists and creatives, of any art form and aged over 18, who live and/or work in Bolton to come together, connect, share opportunities and support one another. The first Bolton Artists & Creatives Social takes place at the Octagon Theatre on Thu 4 July from 6pm until 7pm.

You will have the opportunity to hear from the Octagon's Artistic Director Lotte Wakeham about the upcoming season and artist development plans. We will also hear from Samantha Elliott (Head of Services of Bolton Libraries and Museums) about the Greater Manchester Arts Network and about upcoming Bolton Town of Culture events. There will also be time to share your thoughts on how we can develop and grow the network and what you would like to see from future events.

Please feel free to come by yourself as there will be plenty of opportunities to meet likeminded artists and creatives and Octagon staff will be on hand to welcome you.

Snacks and drinks (including alcoholic and soft drinks) will be provided.

All artists and creatives joining us will also be offered discounted £10 tickets to Theatre Ad Infinitum’s acclaimed show Beautiful Evil Things if you wanted to stay and watch the show which starts at 7.30pm and lasts 70 minutes. You will be sent an email with details of the offer the day after you book your place.

Looking forward to seeing you there; please spread the word to other artists and creatives in the area.
