CREATIVE ENGAGEMENT

Creative Engagement are currently recruiting for volunteers.

We have a fantastic team of volunteers who support a wide variety of Creative Engagement projects across all four strands of our work – Young People, Education, Adults and Community, and Families. This includes our weekly youth theatre sessions, intensive summer projects, supporting us to create productions for our stages and much more.

Our volunteers help us to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all of our participants. The role involves assisting Facilitators in warm-ups and activities as well as working with participants on developing their ideas in sessions.

Most volunteers will commit to a maximum of one session per week of around 2 hours. The duration of this commitment may range from our standard 10 week term to a full school year (September to July). We also need volunteers for one-off events and workshops along with our projects in school holidays.

Volunteering with our Creative Engagement team is perfect if you are looking to gain experience working with young people and communities, or if you want to develop skills as a facilitator.

In return for your time we offer discounted theatre tickets, mentoring, CV support and the chance to join training and skill-share sessions with our facilitators. Many of our volunteers are now working professionally in the arts as facilitators and in engagement teams across the country.
