Chantell Walker
Chantell is a Theatre Director, originally from Sheffield. She trained as a young theatre director at the Liverpool & Everyman Playhouse.
She was appointed as Associate Director at the Stephen Joseph Theatre last Autumn where she will spend 18 months developing her skills to become a future Artistic director of a regional theatre. Her latest production as Assoicate Director was on Love's Labour's Lost (more or less) a co-production between SJT & Shakespeare North Playhouse.
Some of her directing credits include- Jane Hair- The Brontes Restyled- Uk Tour, Bottleneck, Liverpool Royal Court, Eggs, Tristan Bates Theatre and most recently the award-winning folk horror Birdwatching at Edinburgh Fringe Festival which transferred internationally to China and will be going on a UK tour later this year. Her assistant directing credits are, Chariots of Fire, Sheffield Theatres, Rockets & Blue Lights, Manchester Royal Exchange and The Sum, The Everyman & Playhouse.
