New drop-in space available for anyone to use during the current energy and cost of living crisis.

We are delighted to announce we are now part of the Warm Spaces initiative and are opening our doors to provide a safe space for anyone to use during the current energy and cost of living crisis.

We have received funding as part of a nationwide initiative to provide this free drop-in service where visitors can keep warm, have a hot drink, surf the web and have some company – all offered free of charge.

Available every Tuesday and Thursday between 11am-2pm in our Studio foyer, visitors can get free hot drinks and snacks; books and games will be available to use, as well as access to free WiFi.

This initiative will be running from Tuesday 17 January – Thursday 6 April.

The Octagon’s Box Office Manager, Lucy Robinson said:“We understand the difficulties people are facing during the current cost of living and energy crisis. Many people are having to choose between eating and heating their homes, so we hope this initiative will provide a small respite to anyone who may need it. Our doors are open and we encourage anyone who could benefit from a warm space or hot drink to pop in.”
