Would you like to be part of the Octagon team?
Later this month we will be holding a volunteer recruitment day, looking for new volunteers to join our Customer Experience team.
Taking place on Wednesday 27 November, it offers a wonderful chance for anyone interested in theatre or looking for an exciting new opportunity, to get involved with their local theatre.
The role of a volunteer includes greeting and seating audience members for performances, checking tickets, assisting with access requirements and being responsible for audience’s safety and comfort pre-show, interval and post-show. No prior experience is required as full training will be given.
There are two sessions available – 4pm and 7pm; anyone interested in attending should book a place on one of the sessions by completing the below survey.
The session will include an introduction to the Octagon team, a tour of the building, an informal chat and skills-based activities. Nothing is required to be prepared in advance, and the sessions will give a full overview of what the role entails.

The Octagon recruitment day will take place at the Octagon Theatre on Wednesday 27 November at 4pm and 7pm.
