We are looking for Kitchen & BarAssistants to join our Kitchen & Bar team and help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every visitor to the Octagon. As part of a busy theatre environment, you'll play an important role in delivering our food and drink offer, supporting events and room hires, and providing excellent service to audiences before, during and after performances. You'll help create an environment that reflects the Octagon's inclusive values and reputation for outstanding customer care.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. 

Our ideal candidate will be a hospitality professional who will:

• Provide a friendly, efficient and welcoming service to customers, audiences and visitors, helping create a positive experience from arrival to departure.
• Support the delivery of the Octagon's food and beverage offer by taking orders, serving food and drinks, preparing beverages and assisting with room hire events.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation throughout the Kitchen & Bar and public areas.
• Work safely and responsibly, following food hygiene, health and safety and allergen management procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and colleagues.
• Help maximise sales opportunities through product knowledge, confident recommendations and excellent customer engagement.
• Act as a positive ambassador for the Octagon, promoting the theatre's work and values while contributing to a welcoming and enjoyable visitor experience
