About Youth Theatre: 11-14

Performers in this group are given the opportunity to experience a variety of texts and theatrical approaches that enhance their skills as actors.

Young people are encouraged to work creatively and collaboratively, with an emphasis on ensemble acting as well as on developing their own particular talents.

If you are in year 9 and age 14, then you can either join our 11-14 or 14-17 group.

What to expect this term?

This term we will be rehearsing an exciting new play, written by local playwright Nicola Schofield, which will be performed at our Festive Performance on Sunday 7th December. You will aim to develop skills in character performance and voice, and will have the opportunity to perform in the main auditorium at The Octagon alongside our 14-17 Youth Theatre group.
