This festive season we are asking for donations to help us provide more creative activities across the year for children and young people who might not otherwise have the chance to enjoy theatre and the arts.

The Octagon is a registered charity. We are incredibly grateful for all the funding we receive, and to our amazing audiences for continuing to support by buying tickets and visiting. However, this income alone doesn't come close to covering the cost of creating magical worlds on our stages, and providing opportunities for everybody to take part in the arts - in our theatre, as well as in community settings and schools across the town. Like all charities, we must fundraise all year round to make this happen.

We believe every young person in Bolton should have the chance to experience the collective joy and new possibilities being creative can spark. However, there are sadly an increasing number of children, young people and families across Bolton who experience boundaries to taking part in the arts. We are determined to change this, and you can help!

This festive season, we are asking you to give the gift of magical experiences to more young people and families, by donating towards our festive appeal. Your donations will go towards our annual Family Festival, which sees our entire building and surrounding areas transformed into an enchanting playground of activities, performances and experiences, which are free and accessible to all, as well as other free family activities across the year.

We need to raise £10,000 over the festive season to make this happen. Your small change could have a big impact on young people across the town, so please give whatever you can.
