Mowgli is a little boy who grows up in the jungle with a family of wolves. His friends are Bagreena, a clever black panther and Baloo, a big friendly bear who teaches him the rules of the wild. The fierce tiger Shere Khan hates Mowgli and wants to hurt him. To stay safe, Mowgli has to leave the jungle. On his way, he meets tricky Kaa, the snake and cheeky king Louie the monkey. In the end, Mowgli is brave, outsmarts Shere Khan and goes to live with other people.
