About On Me

Christian and Shona have been cast in a tacky true crime docudrama as an abusive predator and his victim. As the two actors explore the undeniable attraction forming between them off set, they stumble into questions of male responsibility, female safety and the dangers of modern romance - and things get still more complicated once the camera starts rolling.

On Me won an Off West End award for its run on the Greater Manchester Fringe in 2022. The play focuses on themes of Gender-Based Violence and comes with the following content warnings: Brief depictions of sexual assault, scenes of alcohol use, coarse language, references to stalking and femicide and instances of sexism.

On Me is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and supported by Endeavour (www.endeavourproject.org.uk)

“Entertaining and often funny… the underlying message is clearly carried throughout, leaving nowhere to hide from it.”
