Black History Month Celebration Event
Black History Month Celebration Event
SAT 10 OCT
The official theme for Black History Month 2026 in the UK is “Honouring Our Communities”. Join us as at the Octagon as we celebrate those who hold our communities together and showcase food, art, music and culture from across the diaspora. Our Black History Month events are open for all to attend!
We've partnered with Bolton Black History Group and Nigerian Community in Bolton to deliver this year's Black History Month events.
All events will take place on Saturday 10 October. As well as the events below, there will be live music, free food and speeches from our partner organisations Bolton Black History Group and Nigerian Community in Bolton. We'll be showcasing local talents such as artist Emeka Onyegbuna and enjoying food by culinary treasures Love and Passion Food based in Bolton Market.
