Affordable Ticket Scheme

The affordable ticket scheme unlocks theatre for just £4 for Bolton residents on Universal or Pension Credit. We’re also working with partners such as Bolton at Home and other social housing providers so that price is not a barrier to an amazing night out.

Who is eligible?

Bolton residents on Universal or Pension Credit or anyone referred to us from one of our ticket access partners can apply to be part of the scheme.

Which shows are on the scheme?

Unfortunately we cannot offer the scheme on visiting shows (not produced by the Octagon)

What seats can you book?
  • Seats in Band B , Band C and Band D
  • Limited number available per show, allocated on first come, first served basis.

Terms and Conditions

General Information
  • Ticket scheme is open to Bolton residents only who are on Universal or Pension Credit or who have been referred to us by one of our Ticket Access partners only.
  • Proof of Universal or Pension Credit must be submitted to join the scheme. (excluding referrals from Ticket Access Partners).
  • Membership of the scheme as standard lasts 12 months – after this proof of eligibility may be required to be updated.
  • Limited number of £4 tickets available and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Eligible Performances
  • £4 tickets are available for Octagon produced shows only (these are labelled with the 'Made in Bolton' stamp)
  • Other bespoke offers may be sent out via email, these offers are set at the discretion of the Octagon Theatre
  • 2 discounted tickets per Member per show
  • Only eligible for price bands B-D (excludes Band A seats)
  • Mon-Fri performances only
  • For our Festive shows discounted tickets are only available on selected performances (these may not be between Mon and Fri) - see below
