We are committed to working with brilliant locally based actors as well as actors from across the UK. For all main stage productions which the Octagon lead produces, we hold audition days in both Bolton and London.

We also hold annual ‘general auditions’ for locally based actors. The next round of these will be in summer 2024. Please check back soon for further details.

We usually work with external casting directors, on a production by production basis. Recently we have worked with casting directors including Olivia Barr (Animal Farm, The Jungle Book) and Jacob Sparrow (The Book Thief).

Any professional actor can submit their details to the Octagon by emailing casting@octagonbolton.co.uk and we will keep their details on file for potential future auditions. Please note, this email address is not monitored full-time.
