About the playwright
Matilda has had a number of short plays featured in London. She has written two short films with the London Met, and her feature-length screenplay, The Netherlands, was shortlisted by BAFTA Rocliffe and BBC Writerslam. She co-produced After the Blue at the Jermyn St Theatre in January 2016, which is due to go on tour. She is working on a TV series, 1974, which follows a Cypriot family story, past and present. Three Mothers is Matilda's first full-length play.
