On the eve of her 24th Birthday, Sarah’s boyfriend Dominic challenges her views on how she see’s herself. Abandoned on the Moors as a baby, Sarah searches for answers to piece her story together. The Moor Girl looks at race and identity, womanhood and explores what happens when you are forced to ignore a part of yourself. How do you know where you’re going if you don’t know where you came from? Can you love a part of yourself, if you've been encouraged to fear it?
