This summer we will transform Queens Park into the extraordinary land of Lilliput from classic story of Gulliver’s Travels.
Gulliver is a traveler and a teller of some rather tall tales. This one is maybe his tallest yet! Gulliver wants to be a hero in his daughter’s eyes. So he takes her on a journey to a land where he is literally a giant. Travel with Gulliver to the land of Lilliput where war is brewing, trouble is coming and Gulliver finds himself at the centre of it all.
Gulliver’s fantastical adventures will be brought to life in the Octagon’s first ever park show. A cast of professional actors will be joined each performance by giant puppets, young performers, local choirs and community companies in a spectacle not to be missed!
Gulliver's Travels is a promenade park performance - so bring your picnic and blankets and join us to see the show unfold:
Scene 1 - The Sunken Gardens (Meet the giant Gulliver!)
Scene 2 - The Glade (Gulliver is taken to the Lilliputian Palace)
Scene 3 - The Lake (Gulliver saves the day!)
Scene 4 - The Ampitheatre (Celebrate with the Lilliputians at The Grand Finale!)
We hope you can join us for a fun-filled evening this summer!
