The Octagon Theatre are looking for young people aged 11-16 to spend a week this summer creating a short, comical, murder mystery themed piece to share with family and friends.

Inspired by the Octagon’s uproarious take on the classic Sherlock Holmes tale, The Hound of the Baskervilles, the Summer School includes an evening trip for the group to see the show on Tuesday 27th July.

With the Octagon’s Creative Engagement team, you’ll be working together as actors and creatives to tell a fun take on a classic murder mystery story, full of twists and turns! You’ll develop acting skills, tackling characters from super sleuths to vicious villains, all in our newly refurbished Octagon theatre space.

At the end of the week, friends and family will be invited into the theatre to enjoy the results of your creativity and to see if they can guess …whodunit?

We have a number of covid secure measures in place for all of our groups and activities - please read them here before booking on. Please note that these may still be in place when Summer School begins, at the Octagon's own discretion.
