As a special Christmas present for our audiences and everyone who has supported the Octagon in this truly challenging year, we would like to give you a very special gift.
We’re delighted to bring you an online broadcast reading of Charles Dickens’ original novel – A Christmas Carol.
The entire story will be read aloud by brilliant local actors, and broadcast from different locations around our brand new theatre, giving audiences a sneak preview inside the building, including ‘behind the scenes’ areas not usually on view to the public.
The classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, and the Three Spirits who visit on Christmas Eve, this will be a full reading of the novel, lasting approximately 3.5 hours.
Tune in from the comfort of your own home, whether just for a chapter or to settle in for the whole story with some mince pies and mulled wine!
