No. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is The Octagon Theatre’s festive show, being performed at The University of Bolton Stadium whilst The Octagon Theatre itself is closed for refurbishment. It’s recommended for ages 5 and over.

Can I bring children younger than 5?
It’s very much aimed at school-age children.
There is a story to follow and younger children may get bored or distracted, or possibly upset
Some people do bring 4 year olds if they have started school.
Everyone attending requires a valid ticket
Please note babes in arms will not be admitted (children 18 months old and younger)

Yes, at the Bolton Whites Hotel. Find out more at

Is The Premier Suite accessible?
The suite is entered at ground floor level and all the seating is on the flat (there is a large raised stage at one end) so there aren’t any steps to navigate. If you use a wheelchair please let the Box Office know when booking your tickets and they will book you in the appropriate area of seating in the room.

Where will I collect my tickets?
We will have a Box Office at the suite from half an hour before each performance so if anyone hasn’t had their tickets in advance these can be collected there from there
