We know everyone is returning to live events at their own pace. In line with government guidelines we continue with some Covid-secure measures in our theatre. We will also keep these under review and will make changes when necessary.

As per industry guidelines we recommend people wear masks in crowded spaces including the theatre and our Customer Experience team will continue to wear masks to help keep staff and audiences healthy and well.


We have enhanced our cleaning schedules throughout our building.


With the redevelopment we have a new air ventilation system that will bring in fresh air from outside in the theatre and front of house areas.


We have installed hand sanitiser stations around the building to make it easier for you to wash your hands regularly.


In order to help you BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE our ticketing exchange policy is more flexible than ever before to ensure you do not miss out whatever happens. For your peace of mind if you need to postpone your visit we have a no quibble exchange policy where we will exchange your ticket at no additional fee for an alternative performance or theatre credit, valid for 12 months from your planned visit. All exchanges must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled show.

In the unfortunate event of a future production/performance being cancelled, we will automatically offer you a choice of: an exchange to a different production/performance (if available); theatre credit (to be used on a future production at the Octagon available for 12 months), a full refund or the option to donate the cost of your ticket to the Octagon.
