First of all – thank you!

All of your incredible donations to the Octagon Future Fund so far, the government recovery funding and support from charitable trusts have been a vital lifeline, and have enabled us to continue our work throughout the pandemic and make it this far. However, we have had to make difficult decisions along the way, and as we work towards re-opening and recovering we still face big financial challenges ahead.

The Octagon has always been a registered charity. We are one of the few theatres left in the UK that produces our own work. In a typical year we need to fundraise at least £100,000 in addition to ticket income to keep doing what we do. This past year, as a result of the pandemic we have lost over £1million of our usual income, so we need your support now more than ever.

We cannot wait to welcome you all back in, and can’t thank you enough for your support so far. It’s now our turn to be there for you and our community in the months and years ahead, and we can’t wait to do so. Please help ensure we can keep our story going by continuing to support us.
