The Octagon gives back this Christmas

Helping spread festive cheer and support the local community.

We are delighted to provide opportunities for even more families to have the chance to enjoy the magic of theatre and see our festive production of Peter Pan.

We have donated £12,000 worth of tickets to local charities and organisations including NHS staff and Bolton at Home residents.

As well as providing subsidised tickets, we will also be screening a special digital version of the production to young patients at Bolton Royal Hospital and their families over the Christmas period.

The Octagon’s Artistic Director, Lotte Wakeham said: “Continuing our partnership with Bolton at Home this year, we are delighted that a number of their residents are able to see our festive production of Peter Pan.

“Bolton’s community spirit has been incredible over the last 20 months, with different organisations working together to help the town get through this challenging time. We are delighted to do our part in supporting our community and look forward to forging new partnerships and supporting even more people in 2022 and beyond.”

Throughout the run of Peter Pan, we are also running a fundraising campaign where our amazing audiences have currently donated nearly £2000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital and Bolton Hospital’s Our Bolton NHS Charity winter appeal.
