An experienced runner and an avid Octagon attendee, Michael Robinson has offered to run the London Marathon to help raise money for the Octagon and our work here at the theatre.
Talking to us about what has motivated to take on this challenge, Michael said "I am running the London Marathon to help the Octagon Theatre Bolton raise money to continue their rich programme of work both on and off-stage. The Octagon offers important, life changing participation opportunities that reach out to the community of Bolton."
As we approach our 50th Anniversary year, we aspire to make the theatre even more accessible for people of all ages and backgrounds.
"Having grown up in the area, I know it’s a fantastic charitable organisation. I am delighted to be able to run the London Marathon for the theatre!"
With your generosity and Michael's amazing running skills, we hope to raise £750.00 to continue our promise to open the theatre up to everyone in the community, to inspire, and to help creativity to blossom throughout Bolton and beyond.
