Free online events this February offering professional development for Bolton based artists and creatives.
We are delighted to share details of a new mini season of free online events this February offering professional development for Bolton based artists and creatives.
The upcoming sessions, taking place via Zoom, will be delivered by Creative Industries Trafford and in partnership with Business Bolton.
Actor/Writer/Producer: Transferring Skills for Theatre Makers on Thursday 4 February explores how performers can develop new work and new skills by expanding from performance into writing and producing. It will provide an insight in to how actors and performers stay creative between jobs and how theatre-makers can support themselves and develop new projects in these uncertain times. The session will be led by theatre practitioners Jess Cummings and Sorcha McCaffery.
With the current lockdown restrictions bringing digital work to the forefront of cultural output, Adapting To Digital on Wednesday 10 February will provide insights how theatre makers and performers can embrace new technology to reimagine their live work for audiences. Guest speakers Knaive Theatre; interactive theatre makers Coney; and cultural agency Future Everything provide insight how to go beyond live-streams of their performances to develop new productions that engage and inspire audiences over digital platforms.
Both events are free and take place over Zoom.
To apply for a place, please email email@example.com stating which event you wish to take part in.
If based in Bolton, please include the first part of your post code. Successful applicants will receive confirmation ahead of the session with full info and Zoom link.
