Octagon Theatre Bolton are looking for a young company to join their team for their upcoming production 'East is East'
Octagon Theatre Bolton are bringing Ayub Khan-Din’s production of East is East to the stage in March 2018. For this production the Octagon is looking for two boys to share the role of Sajit Khan. Sajit Khan is the youngest child of the Khan family, an Anglo-Pakistani family living in Salford in 1971.
This will be an exciting and enjoyable opportunity to join a professional cast of actors and director Ben Occhipinti to bring the story to life.
The boys will need to have a playing age of 13 years old and in order to audition they must be between the ages of 12 and 17. No experience is required but they must feel comfortable performing onstage.
Auditions will be held at the Octagon Theatre Bolton on Tue 9 January and Thu 11 January, in dedicated time slots between 5pm and 7pm.
