To celebrate Shakespeare’s birthday on 23rd April, this week's challenge is Shakespeare themed!
We’ve delved back into our archives to remind ourselves of some of the fantastic Shakespeare productions the Octagon has put on in the past. Some of you might have seen them when they were last performed.
Take a look through this gallery:
This is your Get Creative Challenge for the week.
See if you can name the plays above just from the image. No cheating! If you need a clue, the names of the plays shown are at the bottom of the page* Some plays have more than one picture shown.
Try to recreate one (or more) of the images above. You can use people, pets, toys, plants, anything in your household for inspiration. You might do this as a drawing, a photo, or even a video with a couple of lines from the play. You can add a modern twist, or something personal.
Check out our Lockdown inspired picture below!
Send us your photos to firstname.lastname@example.org or share them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #GetCreative #Challenge and don't forget to tag @octagontheatre so we can see what you have been up to!
We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
