Lockdown reads - Eight word Book Review
Many plays that we put on at the Octagon are adaptations of great books! Classic books like To Kill a Mockingbird, Jane Eyre, The Railway Children and Treasure Island have all been performed in recent years by the Octagon.
In our current season, we’ve programmed brand new adaptations of ‘A Christmas Carol’ and ‘The Book Thief’. So this week’s challenge is a celebration of books!
It’s really simple! We’d like you to send us a review of the book you are currently reading, or a book you’ve enjoyed.
But here’s the catch….the review must only be EIGHT WORDS long!
Share a picture of your book and review by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or share it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #GetCreative #Challenge and don't forget to tag @octagontheatre
We can’t wait to see what you’ve been reading!
Can you guess which eight word review matches which book?
- Things get bad then even worse for man.
- Forest fairies cause trouble but lovers will reunite.
