About Bridges: 12-17s Taster Session
The Octagon is excited to announce the launch of a new group for young people aged 12-17 with additional needs and learning disabilities who are interested in drama and want to get creative.
Participants will learn acting skills, share ideas and connect with new people. Sessions will be led by the Octagon’s Community Theatre Director, Lucie Jowett.
The group will meet on Wednesday evenings at the Octagon Theatre. In the group’s first term, they will meet from 4.30-5.30pm on the following dates:
The cost for the first term is £35. From summer term onwards, the term will comprise of more sessions.
We are running a FREE taster session on Wednesday 7 February, 4.30-5.30pm for anyone interested in joining the group. The taster session will give participants a chance to meet Lucie and the Octagon team, familiarise themselves with the Octagon space and see if the drama sessions are a good fit for their needs. The session will involve drama games and creative exercises. We ask that anyone who wants to join the group attends this taster beforehand.
